Mestizo is a Spanish / Filipino / Mexican word for mixture. It is usually used as a derogatory term for people with mixed heritage, but it has recently been reclaimed as a word of pride.
 
Am I this or am I that? It is a lifelong question about who I am. Even the question itself is difficult to frame, because the subject is too big and mixed up. Mestizo!
